It gets extremely dark and I was not prepared for it. It really messed me for quite a few days. I watched a playthrough but I now wish that I just bought it so I could get my own feel for the gameplay and, since there are multiple of them, get an ending naturally.Fair warning: PLEASE read the trigger warnings before playing. I don't really care for game mechanics themselves and appreciate a good, well-written story much more than that, hence why I really like this game.I recommend going in as blind as possible for the best experience, and also getting the game yourself. I do think that one character has a particularly cliche backstory and doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's really my only complaint.I think one of the only cons with this game are the RPG mechanics, which many people have found to be boring or unoriginal. ![]() You could argue that there's a few pacing issues but, generally, the story flows very naturally and is relatively real and believable.
